Melly is our first dog so she is something special. She was born on 17.3.2000 in Podpeca, Črna na Koroškem. She came in our home as a two month old puppy and immediately charmed all of us. As she came into our home she showed a lot of interest in learning, so we’ve taught her a lot of tricks. She would do anything for a biscuit.
Melly grew up in a beautiful dog with great character. She loves being around people so she is always where we are. She loves caressing, that’s what she would do all the time. She is a great guard dog, but very friendly with her family and friends. She gets along with other dog very well. Melly loves driving in a car and when you open the door she jumps right in and waits for a ride. Her big passion is also water; she jumps in whenever she can, especially in the summer when is hot.
With Melly we started breeding. In 2003 we got our first litter with 5 puppies (litter L). In 2004 Melly had her second litter with 8 puppies (liiter R). From this litter comes our second bernese Ruby. Melly was a great loving mother to her puppies. After second litter we retired Melly from breeding. Now she is enjoying her retirement and brings sunshine into my life every single day.
